Artist Profile Bio:

This member of the pantheon of nation is Tiny.
We suggest that his name was not given by destiny, but by family as groovy describing of his physical shape, giving him top flight conditions in order to create divine formulas of music, which are the basis of nation.
When Tiny met Traxx first in 1996, he already was one of the most beloved figures among music lovers & dancers in his hometown Dresden.

His interest in manipulating, editing & mixing music found it's expression even before the wall was teared down with the help of a mixing console & several cassette tape recorders, which he would open to access that little screw on the motor's backside to speed up or slow down the tracks he wanted to include into his mega mixes via pause button and cutting/pasting the actual tape.

After Germany's unification, he didn't waste much time and started collecting Electronic Dance Music records to become the resident Disk Jock at Base, one of the areas first illegal clubs which became a legend during the nineties.
He played with almost every big name in the business. He had residencys at Clubs like Distillery in Leipzig and toured places like Moskow or Havannah without having released any own productions.
He played at Panoramabar & Tape Club (Berlin), Robert Johnson(Offenbach), Ultraschall (Munich), Flex (Vienna) & 1st Avenue (Minneapolis) just to name a few. Currently, he's hosting the Down Low parties at Altes Wettburo and holds a residency at Elefante Rosso in Venice/Italy, run by Morphine label boss Rabih Beaini.

"A good DJ can make people having fun to explore music they didn't even know they would like or listen to".
Being a Diskjock in the range of musical variety is undoubtely one of his major talents. Next to his more obvious influences like electronic pattern based music from Chicago & Detroit, his sets will include Afro, Soul, Funk, Disco, Italo, Wave as well as weird spaced out sounds and the obscure from past, present and future.

Very few years ago, he started buying drum machines and synthesizers to create his own musical journeys and soon launched Pieskers in Dresden, the studio where several tracks for Nation were created.br> Parametric Melodies off the Faith album, where he joined Traxx in Berlin is his first production out to be followed by collaborations with other artists in the future.
