In 2006 Saturn V was born...
Influenced by Larry Heard and Ron Hardy to create experimental textures of bassline rhythm and groove in a similar illusive-accent arpeggiations that were mastered from these underground independent artists. James T Cotton is one half of Saturn V along with Traxx, creating pieces of masterful jakbeat.
In 2006 they continued to produce projects that presented new ideas for other labels like Muzique, Crème Organization. Crème Jak, and [kontrol] your mind for Relief Records as the last best 12 inch from the label that entire year.
in 2008 they contributed a track to the most recent new album, Like No One. from Cotton that plays like a document of the dance music moment with the dancehouse bumper "Come Into My Life" by the duo.
