with Traxx,D'Marc Cantu and JTC The collab was sparked in the home of Cotton's studio when the two were introduced. In less than a year by 2006 the produced one of the most pivotal track projects of their career. X2 was created less than a year much studio time between the three when possible. They went on to produce 1 of the 1st 3 releases from the limited 300 copy of Crème Jak called 'Barely A Track' which became an instant hit to music heads that were searching for something new dark,edgy and wild.

In 2008 X2 exploded on Nation with a another style of Jakbeat pioneering the next phase of House. “House Not House” elaborates on the groove element of Jak, yet burns like a blue flame on the dance floor. The song takes off with a MS20 blast and goes into acid aggression. The energy moves towards a sci-fi hypnotic trance that brings you back down into synthesized keyboard strings.
