Side B: JTC Feat.Rodger Devine - Monolith ...immediately asserts its colossal melody and takes the listener through a multitude of polyphonic phases without departing from its underlying dark groove. Not unlike the eerie monolith in '2001: A Space Odyssey', the voice of "Monolith" is pervasive and urgent with its sharp articulation, pentatonic motifs and moto perpetuo arpeggios. It relentlessly guides and warns simultaneously as it renders the image of an inevitable anomaly: an organic technological manifestation which transcends time and space. It is, and does undeniably express itself as, a sculpture of apocalyptic beauty.
